Real change starts with awareness and honesty. Not perfection.
Hi, I'm Aimee.
My turning point wasn't a decision. It was a moment I couldn't ignore.
I was mid-workout when the sciatica hit hard enough that I thought I might faint. I'd been dealing with it on and off for a while, pain that would appear without warning, sometimes so severe I couldn't get out of bed. I saw specialists, did the scans, followed the advice. Nothing addressed what was actually driving it. And the frustrating part was that the training I thought was helping me was often making things worse.
I'd been in the same loop most people find themselves in. Push harder, get results, flare up, recover, repeat. My weight fluctuated. My pain fluctuated. I kept starting over because nothing I was doing was building anything that actually held.
Then I started paying attention to what Michael was doing differently.
I'd watched him shift his entire approach to training, and the results he was getting with clients were unlike anything I'd seen in conventional fitness. So I stopped fighting my body and started working with it the way he was teaching others to. The sciatica was resolved. My weight has been on a steady, sustainable downward path ever since, not through restriction or intensity, but through a body that's finally functioning the way it should. I'm still on that journey and I'm okay with that. Progress that holds is worth more than results that don't.
Three pregnancies, four babies, and a body that asked me to slow down and listen every single time. Postpartum recovery taught me more about patience and body awareness than any training program ever had. I stopped trying to bounce back and started building forward instead.
Nutrition became another piece of the puzzle I couldn't ignore. I grew up in a household that paid close attention to food, but I wanted to understand the deeper biology behind it. In 2020 I completed a certification in holistic nutrition through Alive Academy, and what started as personal curiosity became something I wanted to bring into everything we do at Meta Motion.
My role here is to make sure that every person who encounters Meta Motion feels something before they fully understand it. I handle the visual identity, the client experience, the content, and the community, because the method deserves to be felt as clearly as it's explained. Michael built the system. I make sure the door into it feels open and human and worth walking through.
I believe real change starts with honesty and awareness, not perfection. And I believe the body is always telling you something worth listening to. Sometimes you just need the right environment to finally hear it.
The version of you that can move freely, play with your kids, wake up without bracing for the first step. That version isn't gone. It's waiting on the other side to change the pattern.
The Method
If you're ready to stop managing symptoms and start changing the pattern
You're in the right place.
